I always knew a career in the financial world was my calling. My first venture into the industry was in the Investment Operations department at Crossmark Global Investments (formerly Capstone Asset Management) as a Portfolio Administrator. I primarily focused on portfolio reconciliations and new account administration. I then made the jump from Operations into a role as part of the Trading Team at Eagle Global Advisors. There, I handled trade support and settlement responsibilities for various types of securities, including domestic and international stocks, mutual funds, options, and bonds. For over 5 years, I refined my skills at Eagle and also gained exposure into the fast-paced world of trading.

My experience has given me a comprehensive understanding. My previous experience helped me embark on a new journey at Linscomb & Williams (L&W) as a Portfolio Analyst and Trader. At L&W, I specialized in block trading and played a crucial role in the cash management and rebalancing of over 6,000 client accounts. With a decade of experience in the investment management industry, I have a comprehensive understanding of the entire trade lifecycle, from analyzing stock liquidity to trade execution and post-execution processes such as allocation and trade settlement.

Trading is thrilling. I thoroughly enjoy being part of the Brasada team in my role as a trader, where I oversee the daily operations of the trading desk. The thrill of trading, particularly in the face of market volatility, is something I genuinely enjoy. The rush of adrenaline that accompanies each trade makes my job fulfilling and exciting. In addition to my professional accomplishments, I am a first-generation college student and am honored to be a Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Scholarship recipient.

When I’m not buying and selling stocks during market hours, I enjoy running at the Buffalo Bayou and volunteering at the Houston Food Bank.
